The Utah Transit Authority has adjusted and enhanced TRAX service for the weekend to better accommodate an increase of ridership during the Semiannual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Two TRAX trains have been added, and each train will have additional cars. An extra northbound train has also been added to the schedule Sunday, departing the Sandy station at 7:10 a.m.
Riders are encouraged to pre-purchase TRAX tickets at all Harmon's, Macey's, Smith's and Winegar's supermarkets, although tickets can be purchased from vending machines at each station. In addition, a ticket sales counter will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the 10000 South Sandy Civic Center Station.
