Family: Born March 18, 1956, to Sheron Glen and Colleen Cloward Christensen in Salt Lake City; married Debbie Bliss Jones March 28, 1978, in the Salt Lake Temple; four children, Brittany (Ryan) Call, Brooke, W. Kurt, G. Benjamin; one grandson.
Church Service: Served as a missionary in the Chile Santiago South Mission (1975-77), high councilor, bishop, president of the Mexico City East Mission (1995-98), Provo Utah Temple worker, counselor in a Missionary Training Center branch presidency, and as a member of the Fifth Quorum of the Seventy in the Utah South Area.
Education: Received bachelor's degree in accounting from BYU and a master of business administration degree from the University of Washington.
Employment: Held several executive management positions and owned and managed businesses in the retail automotive and real estate development industries, including serving as president and CEO of Christensen Automotive Group, Craig Christensen Management Group, Inc., and Safecare Insurance Corporation and Subsidiaries; managing partner of Costa Development Company and Parkway Ventures, Ltd; and chairman and CEO of Clutch Golf, LLC.
