A Church News article Dec. 7, 2002, titled "Starry scenes," incorrectly named the inventor of bubble lights used in reflecting pool located on the plaza east of the Salt Lake Temple. The lights, more properly called electronic floating candles, were invented and patented by Gary Burgess, lead senior electronic technician of Church's electronic services. The electronic floating candles have microprocessors to create a flickering flame effect. They are not available through the Church.
