Several music and dance performances by Church groups will be presented to commemorate the anniversary of the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics as part of Utah's Winterfest celebration.
The performers include the three groups that took part in the "Light of the World: A Celebration of LifeSpirit of Man, Glory of God." These groups also appeared in the opening and closing ceremonies, at the Medals Plaza and in the Olympic Village.
BYU's Living Legends will perform Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Center Theater. Tickets are $6. BYU Young Ambassadors will perform Feb. 6-7 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 8 at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Center. Tickets are $6. BYU's International Folk Dance Ensemble will perform Feb. 14-15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Center; tickets are $6.
Also performing will be the Utah High School State Men's and Women's Honor Choirs and the Utah Youth Symphony, which will perform in the Tabernacle on Temple Square. Admission is free, but tickets are required. Tickets to all these events can be obtained at the Conference Center ticket office at (801) 240-0080. Admission is limited to those 8 years old and older.
