Eight new mission presidents, called by the First Presidency, have been announced. The new leaders and their wives will begin service about July 1. Their assignments will be announced later. The new leaders and their wives are:

Colleen N. and Robert L. Bauman

Robert Lewis Bauman, 49, Monument Park 12th Ward, Salt Lake Monument Park North Stake; stake president; former counselor in stake presidency, high councilor, bishop and missionary. Insurance agent. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Thomas Earl and Donna Maude Dredge Bauman. Married Colleen Nichols, five children.

A Primary chorister, she is a former Relief Society president, Young Women adviser, organist and Relief Society teacher. Piano teacher. Born in Ogden, Utah, to Russell and Fern Walton Nichols.

Dale R. and Irma O. Blake

Dale R. Blake, 54, South Cottonwood 10th Ward, Salt Lake South Cottonwood Stake; stake president; former high councilor, bishop, elders quorum president and Scoutmaster. Retired director of Physician Services. Born in American Fork, Utah, to Rex B. and Zella Harding Blake. Married Irma Jean Orton, five children.

A gospel doctrine teacher, she is a former stake Young Women president, Relief Society teacher, activities committee chairman, Sunday School teacher and Primary president. Retired physicians business manager. Born in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Byron L. and Colleen Henderson Orton.

Craig W. and Colleen H. Earnshaw

Craig William Earnshaw, 48, Park Meadows Ward, Park City Utah Stake; high councilor; former counselor in bishopric, host at Family Tree Visitors Center, stake mission president and missionary. President LifeLink Corp. Born in Lynnwood, Calif., to William Arnold and Lois Marie Walker Earnshaw. Married Colleen Hall, four children.

A ward Relief Society enrichment leader, she is a former Family Tree Visitors Center host, gospel doctrine teacher, stake Young Women president, Primary president and counselor in Young Women presidency. Piano teacher. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Blaine Herbert and Caroldean Candland Hall.

Cheryl S. and John G. Elmer

John Golden Elmer, 50, Flower Mound 1st Ward, Lewisville Texas Stake; counselor in Fort Worth Texas Mission presidency; former stake mission president, temple ordinance worker, counselor in stake presidency, high councilor, bishop and missionary. Founder and co-owner of Parkway Construction & Associates. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah; son of Golden Charles Elmer and Dorothy Jean Elmer Woolf. Married Cheryl Ann Semones, four children.

A seminary teacher in the Lewisville Texas Stake, she is a former Young Women counselor, institute instructor, nursery leader, Cub Scout committee chairman and counselor in Primary presidency. Volunteer nutrition counselor at Baylor Hospital. Born in Dallas, Texas, to Jack Wesley and Betty Louise Anderson Semones.

Kelly C. and Henry J. Eyring

Henry Johnson Eyring, 39, Foxhill Ward, North Salt Lake Utah Stake; bishop; former counselor in bishopric, Primary teacher, high councilor, high priests group leader and elders quorum president. Partner in financial firm. Born in Palo Alto, Calif., to Henry Bennion and Kathleen Johnson Eyring. Married Kelly Ann Child, four children.

A Relief Society teacher, she is a former counselor in Young Women presidency, counselor in Primary presidency, Primary teacher and Primary president. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ray Miller and Anna Mae Richmond Child.

Claudia K. and Kevin S. Hamilton

Kevin Scott Hamilton, 47, Agoura 1st Ward, Newbury Park California Stake; stake president; former bishop, high councilor, stake and ward Young Men president, seminary teacher and missionary. President of AmeriVon. Born in Wenatchee, Wash., to Norman Russell and Kay Girard Hamilton. Married Claudia Keysor, six children.

A ward Primary teacher, she is a former seminary teacher, Cub Scout leader, counselor in Primary presidency, Young Women president and stake family history consultant. Born in Tacoma, Wash., to Richard Bouton and Arlene Meyer Keysor.

David K. and Laura T. Harmon

David Kent Harmon, 59, Oak Hills 4th Ward, Provo Utah Oak Hills Stake; stake Young Men president; former bishop, Scoutmaster, high priests group leader, counselor in stake presidency, Young Men president, elders quorum president and missionary. Urologist. Born in Richland, Wash., to Kent Midgley and La Faye Steed Harmon. Married Laura Louise Tippetts, eight children.

A counselor in the ward Primary presidency, she is a former activities committee chairman, Relief Society enrichment leader, Young Women general board member, stake music chairman, counselor and president in Relief Society. Born in Albany, Calif., to Joyce Waters and Jean Hulme Smith Tippetts.

Susan O. and Thomas E. Mullen

Thomas Edward Mullen, 48, Pleasant View 5th Ward, Provo Utah Sharon East Stake; counselor in stake presidency; former bishop, high councilor, counselor in bishopric, Young Men president, elders quorum president and missionary. Major gifts manager for LDS Foundation. Born in Borger, Texas, to Charles Verlin and Eula Belle Starkey Mullen. Married Susan Marie Owen, four children.

A counselor in the ward Young Women presidency, she is a former counselor in the stake Young Women presidency, stake Young Women camp director, service missionary and Primary teacher. Owner and director of business that teaches children etiquette through dance. Born in Newport Beach, Calif., to James Edward and Jane Marie Stabler Owen.
