Five new mission presidents, called by the First Presidency, have been announced. They will begin their service about July 1.
Douglas Reed Clement, 62, Hungary Budapest Mission; Woodinville 3rd Ward, Bothell Washington Stake; stake president; former counselor in stake presidency, bishop, high councilor, stake Young Men president, elders quorum president and missionary. Vice president of sales for Capital Synergies, Inc. Born in Las Vegas, Nev., to LyDell Vermont and Frances Marie Woodham Clement. Married Karen Lynn Frome, four children.
A temple ordinance worker, she is a former ward Relief Society president, Sunday School teacher, seminary teacher, Young Women adviser and Young Women president. Born in Long Beach, Calif., to Pershing Millward and Cleo Arvilla Bower Frome.
Theodore Spencer Jackman, 64, Peru Lima South Mission; San Pasqual Ward, Escondido California South Stake; counselor in stake presidency; former stake executive secretary, stake mission president, high councilor, ward Young Men president, stake Young Men president and bishop. General manager of Harborlite Corp. Born in Altadena, Calif., to Theodore Harrington and Ida Jackman. Married Sharon Ann Lockhart, five children.
