  • Lynn A. McKinlay, 88, former member of the Deseret Sunday School General Board and of the Genealogical Society of Utah, died May 1, 2003, in Provo, Utah. He was a former morning radio personality on Church-owned KSL before joining the faculty at BYU in the Department of Film and Dramatic Arts in 1955. He was later assistant professor of communications.

  • Edgar Keith Stott, 83, president of the Chile Osorno Mission from 1978-1981, died April 23, 2003, in Salt Lake City. He was president of the Guatemala Missionary Training Center from 1988-1990. During World War II, he served with the War Plans Division for the U.S. Army in Washington, D.C.
