Lynn A. McKinlay, 88, former member of
the Deseret Sunday School General Board and of the Genealogical Society of
Utah, died May 1, 2003, in Provo, Utah. He was a former morning radio
personality on Church-owned KSL before joining the faculty at BYU in the
Department of Film and Dramatic Arts in 1955. He was later assistant
professor of communications.
Edgar Keith Stott, 83, president of the Chile Osorno Mission
from 1978-1981, died April 23, 2003, in Salt Lake City. He was president of
the Guatemala Missionary Training Center from 1988-1990. During World War
II, he served with the War Plans Division for the U.S. Army in Washington,
D.C.
