Accompanied by his wife, Flora, President Benson visited Japan, Taiwan and the Philippines.

"Strong leaders are being developed and the outlook is most favorable."

While in Japan, President Benson dedicated the Church's new office building in Tokyo, headquarters for the Church in that area. Later, he organized the Nagoya Japan Stake in the country's third largest city.
