BRISBANE, Australia The Brisbane Australia Temple was recently awarded the prestigious title of "Project of the Year" by the Queensland Master Builders Association. Each year the QMBA conducts its Housing and Construction Awards which is judged by peers from within the building industry as well as from the general public, said Julie Russell, editor of QMBA Magazine.
In addition to being the overall winner, the Brisbane Temple also won the category of "Community Service Facilities." The awards were received by the construction company that built the temple and adjacent meetinghouse John Holland Pty. Ltd. at a gala event in front of hundreds from the building industry.
