President Gordon B. Hinckley marked his 93rd birthday with a low-key reception June 24 at the Church Administration Building.
President Thomas S. Monson and President James E. Faust, first and second counselors in the First Presidency, offered brief tributes to President Hinckley, who turned 93 on June 23. Members of the Quorum of the Twelve and a few associates also attended the reception, enjoying a slice of birthday cake.
President Hinckley expressed appreciation for the many birthday cards and well-wishes he has received.
