May 5, 1890 Decision announced to construct a building for Bannock Stake Academy
June 25, 1900 Cornerstone laid by President George Q. Cannon
October 1903 Building completed for opening of school year
Nov. 12, 1906 Building dedicated by Elder John Henry Smith
April 16, 1915 Large lighted R and A letters placed on top of Ricks Academy
Summer 1945 Remodeled to serve administration as other buildings added
Dec. 11, 1963 Building named in honor of Jacob Spori
Summer 1976 Space utilized as classrooms when administration moved
June 22, 1999 Board of Trustees recommended replacing the Spori Building
Nov. 29, 2000 Fire engulfed building during demolition
May 29, 2001 Spori groundbreaking with Elder Henry B. Eyring presiding
Aug. 22, 2003 President Thomas S. Monson dedicated new Jacob Spori Building
