May 5, 1890 — Decision announced to construct a building for Bannock Stake Academy

June 25, 1900 — Cornerstone laid by President George Q. Cannon

October 1903 — Building completed for opening of school year

Nov. 12, 1906 — Building dedicated by Elder John Henry Smith

April 16, 1915 — Large lighted R and A letters placed on top of Ricks Academy

Summer 1945 — Remodeled to serve administration as other buildings added

Dec. 11, 1963 — Building named in honor of Jacob Spori

Summer 1976 — Space utilized as classrooms when administration moved

June 22, 1999 — Board of Trustees recommended replacing the Spori Building

Nov. 29, 2000 — Fire engulfed building during demolition

May 29, 2001 — Spori groundbreaking with Elder Henry B. Eyring presiding

Aug. 22, 2003 — President Thomas S. Monson dedicated new Jacob Spori Building
