The First Presidency has called seven new Missionary Training Center presidents who will begin their service in January 2004.

James and Julietta Aulestia

James Allred Aulestia, 60, Peru Missionary Training Center; Manassas 1st Ward, Centreville Virginia Stake; former president of the Ecuador Guayaquil South Mission, high priests group instructor and high councilor. Earned bachelor of arts degree in architecture construction management from George Washington University; architect/project manager for Church. Born in Quito, Ecuador, to Victor F. and Hilda Trevino Aulestia. Married Julietta Pacheco, parents of two children.

Sherma and Scott Ballif
Scott W. Ballif, 68, New Zealand Missionary Training Center; Pleasant View 2nd Ward, Pleasant View Utah Stake; former president of Oregon Portland Mission, Young Men adviser, bishop. Earned masters degree in sociology from Utah State University; administrator in Weber County Schools. Born in Ogden, Utah, to Mark Squires and Edna Dixon Ballif. Married Sherma Nancy Craven, parents of four children.

Kaye and Gerry Heaton
Gerry Lee Heaton, 62, Wallsburg 1st Ward, Midway Utah Stake; Chile Missionary Training Center; former president of the Spain Madrid Mission, bishop, counselor in stake presidency and high priests group leader. Earned bachelor's degree in Portuguese/Latin American Studies from Brigham Young University; owner/manager of a roofing and heating business. Born in Alton, Utah, to Lynn H. and Lydia Wilson Heaton. Married Kaye Baker, parents of six children.

Denis and Michael Morrill
Denis Roy Morrill, 64, Guatemala Missionary Training Center; Bennion 2nd Ward, Bennion Utah Stake; former president of the Guatemala Guatemala City Central Mission, stake president, instructor in stake missionary preparation. Earned law degree from the University of Utah; attorney and member of the Utah State Board of Education. Born in Kingston, Utah, to Luther L. and Bernice Hinton Morrell. Married Michael Suzanne Williams, parents of 10 children.

Vellis and Lorin Pincock
Lorin Dwight Pincock, 65, Japan Missionary Training Center; Kaysville 18th Ward, Kaysville Utah Crestwood Stake; former president of the Japan Fukuoka Mission, high councilor and bishop. Earned bachelor of arts degree in communications from Weber State University; in-field services representative for Church Missionary Department. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lorin and Lorna Jensen Pincock. Married Vellis Gae Buck, parents of six children.

James William Ritchie, 60, Ghana Missionary Training Center; Heber 1st Ward, Heber City Utah East Stake; former president of the Virginia Roanoke Mission, regional representative, stake president and bishop. Earned degree in business administration from University of California at Los Angeles; chairman of Ritchie Enterprises. Born in Heber City, Utah, to Leon J and Elda Robbins Ritchie. Married Carolyn Orton, parents of eight children.

Theron and Marilyn Rose
Theron David Rose, 62, Argentina Missionary Training Center; Hunter 12th Ward, Salt Lake Hunter West Stake; former president of the Peru Trujillo Mission, stake president, bishop. Earned masters degree in instructional psychology from Brigham Young University; assistant institute director in Church Educational System. Born in Panguitch, Utah, to David Quilter and Delpha Almira Johnson Rose. Married Marilyn Plummer, parents of four children.
