Eight new mission presidents, called by the First Presidency, have been announced. The new leaders and their wives will begin service about July 1. Their assignments will be announced later. The new leaders and their wives are:

Lowell Coy Barber, 56, Pasco 4th Ward, Pasco Washington Stake; Area Authority Seventy; former stake president, bishop, counselor in bishopric, seminary teacher and missionary. Attorney. Born in Tacoma, Wash., to David Keith and Gloria Louise Coy Barber. Married Shannon Fielding, six children.

A Relief Society president, she is a former Primary president and counselor in Relief Society presidency. Born in Powell, Wyo., to Marion Orland and Faye Jackson Fielding.

Kenneth Russell Harris, 51, Bear Canyon Ward, Albuquerque New Mexico Stake; public affairs missionary in the Philippines Area; former counselor in stake Sunday School presidency, high councilor, counselor in bishopric and missionary in the North Germany Hamburg Mission. Partner in private business. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to James Kenneth and Emma Margaret Koller Harris. Married Margrit Lilly Fischbacher, three children.

Dean Condie Jensen, 57, Las Sendas Ward, Mesa Arizona Salt River Stake; missionary in the Indonesia Jakarta Mission; former stake executive secretary and clerk, stake Young Men president, high councilor and bishop. Ralph Joseph Marsh, 66, Bonneville 1st Ward, Salt Lake Bonneville Stake; counselor in bishopric; former stake Sunday School president, high councilor, Aaronic Priesthood adviser, gospel doctrine teacher and missionary in the Swedish mission. Attorney. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Marion Thirl and Mary LaNore Elggren Marsh. Married Judith Backman, seven children.

Paul Bowen Pieper, 46, Europe East Area; branch president; former counselor in stake presidency, counselor in stake Young Men presidency, high councilor, Primary teacher and missionary in the Mexico Monterrey Mission. Brent LaMar Top, 50, Battle Creek 9th Ward, Pleasant Grove Utah East Stake; high councilor; former counselor in stake presidency, bishop, high priests group leader and missionary in the Denmark Copenhagen Mission.
