Eight new mission presidents, called by the First Presidency, have been announced. The new leaders and their wives will begin service about July 1. Their assignments will announced later. The new leaders and their wives are:
A stake Relief Society president, she is a former counselor in ward Primary presidency, counselor in ward Relief Society presidency, marriage and family relations teacher, Primary chorister and ward Young Women president. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Bryan West and Darlene Howard Belnap.
A ward Relief Society instructor, she is a former seminary teacher, institute teacher and ward Relief Society president. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, to Norman James and Rose Helen Calteaux.
A gospel doctrine teacher, she is a former counselor in ward Relief Society presidency, institute instructor, ward Young Women president, Relief Society teacher, Sunday School teacher and ward Relief Society president. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to George Mack and Evelyn Olsen.
A Sunday School teacher, she is a former visiting teacher coordinator, counselor in the ward Relief Society presidency, counselor in the ward Primary presidency, ward Primary president and Relief Society teacher. Born in Talara, Peru, to Oscar Arnaldo and Cristina Castillo de Cepeda.
She is a former ward chorister, ward choir director, ward Young Women president, Relief Society enrichment leader, seminary teacher, counselor in stake Young Women presidency, counselor in ward Relief Society presidency. Born in Caliente, Nev., to Ferren Wittwer and Violet Ford Terry Bunker.
A counselor in the Relief Society presidency in the Uinta Healthcare Branch, she is a former stake Young Women president, ward Young Women adviser, counselor in ward Relief Society presidency, counselor in ward Primary presidency and Primary teacher. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Asahel Frederick and Catherine Eldredge.
She is a former branch Young Women president, Relief Society teacher, branch Primary president, branch Relief Society president. Born in Mexico City, Mexico, to Adrian and Guadelupe Malvaez de De La Torre.
A seminary teacher, she is a former ward Relief Society president, seminary teacher, ward Young Women president and counselor in ward Primary presidency. Born in Phoenix, Ariz., to Marvin Ernest and Phyllis Blake Larson.
