Expansion included a statue of the Angel Moroni added to its spire, the
basement finished into additional space and upgrading of mechanical
systems.

Pertinent facts: First dedicated by President Spencer W. Kimball on
Oct. 30, 1978; remodeling began in August 2002; open house held Jan.
17-Feb. 14, 2004, except Sundays; 99,000 attended.
Rededicated Feb. 22, 2004, by President Gordon B. Hinckley, carried by
satellite to 184 stake centers and 13 districts.
