WINTERTHUR, Switzerland — About 220 members of the Zurich Switzerland Stake and their friends attended a fireside in the Winterthur chapel March 5, during which the commander of the country's top flight team spoke of leadership, friendship and trust.

Lt. Col. Daniel Hoesli of the Patrouille Suisse, commander of the six-man Swiss "Top Gun" team, not a member of the Church, described how flying in tight formations with tolerances sometimes as tight as 10-feet requires a trust and confidence that the leader will not lead his command into dangerous situations.

The fireside included a video that members said was so vivid they could feel the power of the F5s and FA18s. Following the fireside many examined the flight gear. Some posed for pictures with Lt. Col. Hoesli.

The fireside was part of an ongoing effort by the stake to provide meaningful opportunities for members and others to join in a friendly atmosphere where neighbors can become acquainted with the Church.
