Eight new mission presidents, called by the First Presidency, have been
announced. The new leaders and their wives will begin service about July 1.
Assignments for all mission presidents were announced in the March 6, 2004,
Church News. The new leaders and their wives are:
Glenn Wayne Beus, 53; Russia Moscow
Mission; Othello 3rd Ward, Othello Washington Stake; bishop; former stake
president, stake executive secretary, high councilor, elders quorum
president and missionary in the Philippines Mission. Teacher and farmer.
Born in Ogden, Utah, to Evan Hugh and Alta Lucille Mansfield Beus. Married
Kathleen Joanne Kuttler, nine children.
A gospel doctrine teacher, she is a former ward Relief Society and
Primary president, counselor in a ward Relief Society and Primary
presidency and Primary teacher. Born in Bethesda, Md., to Kenneth Latimer
and Joanne Stratford Hyde Kuttler.
Roger Craig Connors, 45; Washington
Kennewick Mission; Alpine 2nd Ward, Alpine Utah North Stake; gospel
doctrine teacher; former stake president, high councilor, counselor in a
bishopric, elders quorum president and missionary in the Georgia Atlanta
Mission. Self-employed. Born in Whittier, Calif., to Craig Gordon and Ruth
Joann Mallotte Connors. Married

David Heber Crane, 55; Puerto Rico
San Juan Mission; Visalia 1st Ward, Visalia California Stake; counselor in

president, Aaronic Priesthood adviser and missionary in the Andes South
Mission. Oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Born in Murray, Utah, to Leonald
