Eight new mission presidents, called by the First Presidency, will begin service about July 1. Assignments for all mission presidents were announced in the March 6, 2004, Church News.

Russell and Nina Booth
Russell Kent Booth, 61; Nigeria Lagos Mission; Canyon Rim 4th Ward, Salt Lake Canyon Rim Stake; former stake president, stake Young Men president, high councilor, bishop and missionary in the Southern States Mission. Senior manager at Coldwell Banker Commercial. Born in Bingham Canyon, Utah, to Jesse Lynn and Alta Lyle McCloy Booth. Married Nina Camille Woodbury, seven children.

A gospel doctrine teacher, she is a former Young Women general board member, counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, ward Young Women president and counselor in a ward Primary presidency. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Orin Richards and Mary Imogene Randall Woodbury.

Jeannie and Gerald Buttars
Gerald Anderson Buttars, 64; Arizona Tempe Mission; Granger West 5th Ward, Salt Lake Granger West Stake; former stake president, stake mission president, bishop and missionary in the Eastern Canada Mission. Program director at the Utah State Library for the Blind. Born in Logan, Utah, to Thomas James and Mary Anderson Buttars. Married Jeannie Webb, two children.

A counselor in ward Relief Society presidency, she is a former stake Young Women president and ward missionary. Born in Preston, Idaho, to Lewis D. and Bonnie Nell Robinson Gregersen Webb.

Stephen and Laurel Cranney
John Stephen Cranney, 59; Bolivia Santa Cruz Mission; Davis 2nd Ward, Vernal Utah Uintah Stake; Sunday School teacher; former counselor in stake presidency, stake Young Men president, high councilor, bishop and missionary in North Mexican Mission. Regional director of the Mule Deer Foundation. Born in Portland, Ore., to Wydon Doyle and Nettie Marie Peterson Cranney. Married Laurel Irene Ostergaard, eight children.

A Young Women adviser, she is a former stake Young Women camp director, ward Relief Society president, counselor in ward Young Women presidency and Primary teacher. Born in American Fork, Utah, to Mack Robert and Irene Warnick Ostergaard.

William and Marian Ertel
William Louis Ertel, 46; Florida Tallahassee Mission; Westbrook 4th Ward, West Jordan Utah Westbrook Stake; Scoutmaster; former stake president, high councilor, bishop and missionary in the Florida Tallahassee Mission. Sales representative at Midwest Floor Coverings. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Bill Gene and Zelva JoAn Hurst Ertel. Married Marian Wilson, five children.

A ward family history specialist, she is a former stake Relief Society president, counselor in ward Relief Society presidency, Young Women adviser, Primary teacher and gospel doctrine teacher. Born in Ogden, Utah, to D. Jay and Blanche Petersen Wilson.

Ron and Wendy Gardner
Ronald Dale Gardner, 58; Argentina Cordoba Mission; Bountiful 30th Ward, Bountiful Utah East Stake; Young Men president of the Wasatch Branch; former multi-stake public affairs co-director, stake Young Men president, bishop and missionary in Argentina. Vice president of Fred A. Moreton & Co. Born in San Diego, Calif., to Dale LaVon and Emma Jean Jenkins Gardner. Married Robyn Wendy Richards, four children.

A Lambda Delta Sigma adviser and institute teacher, she is a former multi-stake public affairs co-director, counselor in stake Relief Society, Young Women and Primary presidencies and ward Young Women president. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Wayne Felt and Lucile Cannon Richards.

Norman and Cynthia Nemrow
Norman Robert Nemrow, 49; Korea Daejeon Mission; Edgemont 2nd Ward, Provo Utah Edgemont Stake; high councilor; former counselor in a bishopric, high priest group leader, ward Young Men president and missionary in the Korea Mission. Professor at Brigham Young University and president of Business Learning Software. Born in Los Angeles, Calif., to Richard Lockhart and Wilma Roberta Robb Nemrow. Married Cynthia Ann Clark, five children.

A ward Primary chorister, she is a former ward Young Women and Primary president and counselor in a ward Relief Society, Young Women and Primary presidency. Born in Provo, Utah, to Don Schow Clark and Marion Clark Nelson.

Judy and Dallas Rhyne
Dallas Wade Rhyne, 52; Russia Vladivostok Mission; Brainerd Ward, Chattanooga Tennessee Stake; former stake president, stake family history librarian, branch president, ward Young Men president and Aaronic priesthood instructor. President of Dallas Rhyne Inc. Born in Chattanooga, Tenn., to William Edgar and Larue Haws Rhyne. Married Judy Boyce, four children.

She is a former stake Young Women president, counselor in ward Young Women presidency, gospel doctrine teacher and missionary in the Kentucky-Tennessee Mission. Born in St. Ignatius, Mont., to Leslie Henry and Alma Ruth Zobell Boyce.

David and Ronda Vincent
David Decker Grossen Vincent, 40; Australia Sydney North Mission; Centerville 5th Ward, Centerville Utah South Stake; bishop; former ward Young Men president, counselor in an elders quorum presidency and missionary in the Philadelphia mission. Chief executive officer of Gamma West Brachytherapy and medical benefits consultant. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Roswell Irwin and Mae Eleanor Grossen Vincent. Married Ronda Leigh Hadley, four children.

A Primary teacher, she is a former counselor in a ward Relief Society and Young Women presidency and Relief Society teacher. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John Leonard and Marjorie Reid Nelson Hadley.
