SANTIAGO, Chile — Thousands of members and friends of the Church came together during Holy Week at the Santiago Chile Temple grounds to enjoy an Easter-themed program celebrating the resurrection of Christ.

For six nights, April 6-11, visitors gathered at the Pocuro meetinghouse to view the film, "The Testaments: Of One Fold and One Shepherd." Each person who attended one of the functions seemed to leave the film — making its debut in Chile — tearful and moved by what they had seen. More than 1,500 people attended the various functions at the temple grounds during the holiday weekend. They filled each of the rooms inside the Pocuro meetinghouse where the film was being screened. Afterwards, visitors enjoyed music from a variety of choirs — including a choir from the Chile Santiago East Mission and the children's chorale, Coro de Nios Blumenthal de Talagtante.

Between film screenings and choir performances, the many visitors wandered through different rooms in the meetinghouse to enjoy an exhibition of artwork created by LDS Chileans from around the country.

At the entrance of the Church offices on the temple grounds, visitors were greeted by a large painting of the resurrected Christ. Beneath the painting was the inscription, "Why seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen" (Luke 24:5-6). The painting was a favorite spot for people taking photos.
