LAYTON, Utah — The National Federation of State High School Associations named Mike Hansen of the Cherry Lane Ward, Layton Utah East Stake, as the 2003 Wrestling Coach of the year. Brother Hansen has been the wrestling coach at Layton (Utah) High School for 29 years and has led the team to three state championships and three second-place finishes.

The association honored Brother Hansen because of his coaching record, community service, involvement in school activities, and involvement in coaching at the local, state and national levels.
