ACCRA, Ghana — President Richard Ahadjie and the priesthood leaders of the Accra Ghana Christiansborg Stake celebrated the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood in a special way — at the recently dedicated Accra Ghana Temple.

On Saturday morning, May 15, 42 Aaronic Priesthood young men and 56 priesthood leaders arrived at the temple eager to perform temple ordinances. The young men performed 220 baptisms for the dead. The adult leaders performed 105 endowments. Several of the priesthood leaders served as temple ordinance workers in the temple that day.

Later in the day, the young men and their leaders had lunch at the Christiansborg stake center, located adjacent to the temple, and took time to reflect upon the restoration of the priesthood and the events of the day.
