Wilbur Thayne Wagner, 73, Lomas (English) Ward, Mexico City Mexico Chapultepec Stake; called as president of the Tuxtla Gutierriez Temple; succeeding President Earl. W. Redd. President Wagner's wife, Carel Robinson Wagner, will serve as temple matron. Currently serving as a counselor in the Oaxaca Mexico Temple presidency, President Wagner is a former mission president, counselor in a mission presidency, high councilor, bishop and counselor in a bishopric. He owns Emexsa Company in Mexico City. He was born in Colonia Guadalupe, Mexico, to Albert Henry and Mary Willa Thayne Wagner.

Sister Wagner served with her husband while he was a mission president. She is a former stake Sunday School secretary, ward Primary president, counselor in a ward Young Women presidency and ward Relief Society secretary. She was born in Mesa, Ariz., to James Elmo and Cary Martina Larsen Robinson.
