July 6 — Concerts in the Park: Synergy will perform dance numbers to tunes from the 1950s and Broadway at 8 p.m. at the Brigham Young Historic Park, southeast corner of State Street and 2nd Avenue. Free parking (enter at 59 E. North Temple), and free admission.
July 10 — The Outdoor Summer Youth Concert, featuring artists such as Jon Schmidt, Peter Brienholt and more, will be held at 7:30 p.m., with pre-show entertainment beginning at 7 p.m., at This Is The Place Heritage Park. Free tickets are required (240-0080).
July 10 — Family History Library class: China Research Series. Call 1-800-453-3860 (ext. 4950) to pre-register. A list of classes is available at www.familysearch.org under the Library tab and "Education."
Through Oct. 17 — Museum of Church History and Art exhibit: "Music and the Spoken Word: Celebrating 75 Years of Mormon Tabernacle Choir Radio Broadcasts," detailing the history of the longest running live radio program in the United States. Museum Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays and most holidays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. 45 N. West Temple. Free admission.
