Bernice and Wayne Ursenbach
Wayne Octave Ursenbach, 80, Winder 3rd
Ward, Salt Lake Winder West Stake; called as president of the Laie Hawaii
Temple; succeeding President Glenn Y.M. Lung. President Ursenbach's wife,
Nettie Bernice Ohlin Ursenbach, will serve as
temple matron. A sealer in the
Salt Lake Temple, President Ursenbach is a
former counselor in a temple presidency, patriarch, stake president,
counselor in a stake presidency and bishop. He is retired. He was born in
Lethbridge, Alberta, to Octave Willis and Jessie Redd Ursenbach.
Sister Ursenbach is a former assistant to the matron, ordinance worker,
stake and ward Relief Society president and ward Primary president. She was
born in Murray, Utah, to Carl Gustav and Jeanette Sturton Goodall Ohlin.
Betty and Glenn Hansen
Glenn Allan Hansen, 65, Crystal Lake
2nd Ward, Buffalo Grove Illinois Stake; called as president of the Chicago
Illinois Temple; succeeding President George H. Watson. President Hansen's
wife,
Betty Jeanne Goodsell Hansen, will
serve as temple matron. President Hansen is a former mission president,
counselor in a stake presidency, bishop and high priests group leader. He
is a retired orthodontist. He was born in Springville, Utah, to Joseph
Glenn and Margaret Fay Thomas Hansen.
Sister Hansen served with her husband while he was a mission president.
She is a former stake and ward Relief Society and Primary president. She
was born in Montpelier, Idaho, to Lee Wilson and Ellen LaDore Ward
Goodsell.
