Aug. 7 — Temple Square Concert Series: The Saltaires Show Chorus will perform barbershop standards and a salute to entertainer Bob Hope in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission.
Aug. 10 — Concerts in the Park: Pan Jam, a family steel-drum band, will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Brigham Young Historic Park, southeast corner of State Street and 2nd Avenue. Free parking (enter at 59 E. North Temple), and free admission.
Aug. 14 — Family History Library class: China Research Series. Call 1-800-453-3860 to pre-register. A list of library classes is available at www.familysearch.org under the Library tab and "Education."
Through Nov. 28 — Museum of Church History and Art exhibit: "Where Love Is: Art of Faith and Family," celebrating the art of Phyllis Luch. Museum Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays and most holidays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. 45 N. West Temple. Free admission.
