COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Major Arthur Ford IV, a career U.S. Air Force officer, recently swore in his father, Arthur Ford III, as a chaplain in the Civil Air Patrol.
A Vietnam War veteran, the elder Ford will be responsible for teaching "moral leadership" to young cadets while providing grief counseling in times of tragedy. The Civil Air Patrol is an auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force.
Chaplain Ford, 60, is a former bishop and serves as an ordinance worker in the Denver Colorado Temple.
