Aug. 21 — Temple Square Concert Series: A "Families Making Music" concert will be presented at 7:30 p.m. in the Assembly Hall by the Ben and Meg Ferry family, accompanied by pianist Joanna Oshida. Free admission.
Aug. 24 — Concerts in the Park: An Dragan Ceilteach, Irish step dancers, will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Brigham Young Historic Park, southeast corner of State Street and 2nd Avenue. Free parking (enter at 59 E. North Temple), and free admission.
Aug. 28 — Family History Library class: Norway Research Series. Call 1-800-453-3860 to pre-register. A list of library classes is available at www.familysearch.org under the Library tab and "Education."
Through Sept. 6 — Museum of Church History and Art exhibit: "Boyd K. Packer: The Lifework of an Amateur Artist," celebrating 70 years of painting, drawing and wood carving by the Church leader. Museum Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays and most holidays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. 45 N. West Temple. Free admission.
