KANSAS CITY, Mo. Rainey Rogers, a Scoutmaster in the McKinney 2nd Ward, McKinney Texas Stake, is the reigning Amateur Super Heavyweight Boxing Champion. In August, he won the Ringside World Tournament, which draws more than 1,300 contenders, in Kansas City, Mo.
Brother Rogers, who left boxing shortly after his mission, decided to return to the ring as a way to get in shape after turning 40. The father of five plans on defending his title next year.
