One of the greatest blessings a man can possess is that of belonging to a priesthood quorum.
Every quorum throughout the church, from the deacons to the high priests, should emulate the Quorum of the Twelve and respect and love each other. A member of a priesthood quorum should never face a problem alone.
"In a quorum, we have a special brotherhood. We are there to lift, inspire and bless each other with the spirit of our calling. When one is burdened, there are eleven others anxious to lift and share that burden."
Priesthood quorums are three things: first, a class; second, a fraternity; and third, a service unit.
In the Quorum of the Twelve, the apostles study the doctrines of the gospel together every day. Each quorum member can make quorum meetings a place to increase knowledge of the gospel. As all study the words of the prophets together, they will be blessed.
The fraternity of the gospel bonds the men of the church together, and as a result they should be willing as a group to help all members who may be in need temporally, mentally or spiritually.
The only purpose of the Quorum of the Twelve is to be of service. There has never been a time in history when the word of God required a more faithful testimony and labor from the apostles and elders than today.
"May the brotherhood that exists in our quorum be of comfort and of strength and of security as we progress through this phase of our mortal existence."
