ST. GEORGE, Utah — Charlene Ashworth and Verna Nelson of the Pleasant View 5th Ward, Provo Utah Sharon East Stake, each won gold medals in swimming at the Huntsman World Senior Games in St. George, Utah, early in October.
In their age group — 50 and older, Sister Ashworth won the gold in the 50-meter breaststroke and Sister Nelson won the gold in the 200-meter breastroke. They also won an assortment of silver and bronze medals.
