RICHLAND, Wash. — More than 2,000 items were created and donated by sisters and others in the Richland Washington Stake on Sept. 25 for Church Humanitarian Services. One year earlier, during the General Relief Society Meeting, sisters who had been asked to become experts on one of 11 humanitarian projects shared patterns, information and samples of the needed humanitarian projects.

This year, during what was called a "Small Things Gathering," the stake Relief Society presidency arranged to have the "small things," such as hats, mittens, children's clothing, hygiene kits and other items, brought to the cultural hall in the hour before this year's General Relief Society Meeting.
