SEAL BEACH, Calif. Marian Young Morgan, the last living granddaughter of Church President Brigham Young, died at age 105 on Nov. 22. She was born to Brigham Young Jr., who was a member of the Quorum of the Twelve and a counselor to his father, and Abbie Stevens Young on Jan. 15, 1899, in Fruitland, N.M.
Sister Young, who was active in the Church throughout her life, died at Leisure World, a retirement community in Seal Beach, Calif., where she lived for 42 years. She married Orson J. Morgan in 1922 and he died in 1964. They had two children daughter, Marilyn, and son Jay, who is still living.
