SEAL BEACH, Calif. — Marian Young Morgan, the last living granddaughter of Church President Brigham Young, died at age 105 on Nov. 22. She was born to Brigham Young Jr., who was a member of the Quorum of the Twelve and a counselor to his father, and Abbie Stevens Young on Jan. 15, 1899, in Fruitland, N.M.
Sister Young, who was active in the Church throughout her life, died at Leisure World, a retirement community in Seal Beach, Calif., where she lived for 42 years. She married Orson J. Morgan in 1922 and he died in 1964. They had two children — daughter, Marilyn, and son Jay, who is still living.
