MESA, Ariz. — Members of the Mesa Arizona Mountain View Stake held their 6th annual humanitarian day last month with the theme, "Neighbors Helping Neighbors." In partnership with "Arizona Blankets for Kids," 350 children's quilts and 150 baby quilts were completed for distribution to shelters and crisis centers. Families also assembled hygiene kits for the Church's Humanitarian Services and children stuffed footballs and teddy bears to be distributed to needy children. In addition, 80 sets of flash cards were prepared and donated to a literary program. Some 350 members cleaned a city park and more than 75 units of blood were donated.
