LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Popular singer and Church member Merrill Osmond of the Osmond Brothers recently performed at a Tsunami Relief Fund-raiser hosted by the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, made up of civic and business leaders.

Earlier in the day, he attended a press conference in the offices of the Thai consul general, the Honorable Isinthorn Sornvai, where Sornvai announced to the Thai press their partnership in raising funds for tsunami victims. Besides Consul General Sornvai, the consuls general from Malaysia and Indonesia and the consul from Sri Lanka spoke at the event, each giving the latest statistics on relief efforts in their countries.
