Eight new mission presidents, called by the First Presidency, have been announced. The new leaders and their wives will begin service about July 1. Their assignments were announced in the Feb. 26, 2005, issue of the Church News.

Marcos and Luisa Aidukaitis
Marcos Antony Aidukaitis, 45; Brazil Brasilia Mission; Barueri Ward, Barueri Brazil Stake; Area Authority Seventy; former regional welfare agent, stake president, high councilor and missionary in the Brazil Sao Paulo South Mission. Partner at MAV Distribution. Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, to Antony and Maria Dittrich Aidukaitis. Married Luisa Englert, five children.

Sister Aidukaitis is a former stake Relief Society president, stake and ward Primary president, counselor in a ward Primary presidency and Sunday School teacher. Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, to Raul and Renata Suffert Englert.

Kathryn and Tad Callister
Tad Richards Callister, 59; Canada Toronto East Mission; Glendale 1st Ward, Glendale California Stake; Area Authority Seventy; former regional representative, counselor in a mission presidency, stake president, bishop and missionary in the Eastern Atlantic States Mission. Attorney. Born in Glendale, Calif., to Reed Eddington and Effie Norinne Richards Callister. Married Kathryn Louise Saporiti, six children.

A stake seminary supervisor, Sister Callister is a former counselor in a stake Primary presidency, ward Young Women and Primary president, Young Women adviser and seminary teacher. Born in San Bernardino, Calif., to Angelo Louis and Fernith Isaacson Saporiti.

Elsa and Robert Ewer
Robert Allen Ewer, 58; California Riverside Mission; Plain City 3rd Ward, Plain City Utah Stake; former stake president, stake executive secretary, stake Young Men president, high councilor and missionary in the Italy Mission. Director for the Church Educational System. Born in Logan, Utah, to William H. and Dorothy Olsen Ewer. Married Elsa Jean Bowen, four children.

Sister Ewer is a former stake music director, ward Primary president, gospel doctrine teacher, Primary teacher and Young Women adviser. Born in Logan, Utah, to Darold Johnson and Katie June Tolman Bowen.

Gary and Lora Lee Heaton
Gary Lee Heaton, 60; Mexico Guadalajara Mission; Olde Oaks Ward, Houston Texas North Stake; counselor in the stake presidency; former stake Young Men president, high councilor, counselor in a stake mission presidency, bishop and missionary in the Andes Mission. Physician. Born in San Diego, Calif., to William Reo and Berle June Jaynes Heaton. Married Lora Lee Brown, six children.

A stake Relief Society president, Sister Heaton is a former ward Relief Society and Primary president, counselor in a ward Relief Society presidency and enrichment leader. Born in Watsonville, Calif., to Folkman Daniels and Ivy Manning Brown.

Jerrald and Janet Jensen
Jerrald M Jensen, 49; Pennsylvania Harrisburg Mission; Jordan Oaks 1st Ward, West Jordan Utah Jordan Oaks Stake; former stake president, counselor in a stake presidency, high councilor, bishop and missionary in the Missouri Independence Mission. Division manager at Eagle Eye Distributing. Born in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Moyle Christian and Deon Christiansen Jensen. Married Janet Embley, eight children.

A Primary teacher, Sister Jensen is a former ward Primary president, counselor in stake and ward Relief Society presidencies, counselor in a ward Young Women presidency and scribe to a stake patriarch. Born in Gunnison, Utah, to John Leon and Patricia Ann Jones Embley.

Cesar and Cindy Morales
Cesar Augusto Morales A., 44; Guatemala Quetzaltenango Mission; Utatlan Ward, Guatemala City Guatemala Utatlan Stake; stake president; former counselor in a stake presidency, high councilor, bishop, high priests group leader and missionary in the Guatemala Quetzaltenango Mission. Regional coordinator for the LDS Church. Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, to Eduardo and Rosa Reyes Alvarez de Morales. Married Cindy Jeanette Folgar, four children.

A seminary teacher, Sister Morales is a former stake and ward Young Women president, ward Primary president, Sunday School teacher and gospel doctrine teacher. Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, to Juventino and Alba Marilu Barillas de Folgar.

Jesus and Olga Ortiz
Jesus Alfonso Ortiz T., 40; Mexico Oaxaca Mission; Nuevo Mexico Ward, Guadalajara Mexico Lomas Stake; former stake president and counselor, counselor in a mission presidency, bishop and missionary in the Mexico Veracruz Mission. Institute director. Born in Hermosillo, Mexico, to Jesus Alfonso Ortiz Medina and Josefa Tirado Almeida de Ortiz. Married Olga Lidia Ochoa M., three children.

Sister Ortiz is a former temple ordinance worker, counselor in a stake Relief Society presidency, ward Relief Society and Primary president and Primary teacher. Born in Culiacan, Mexico, to Isidoro Ochoa Torres and Hermelinda Munoz Haros de Ochoa.

Christianne and Jarbas Souza
Jarbas F. Souza, 44; Brazil Salvador Mission; Santa Candida Ward, Curitiba Brazil Boa Vista Stake; stake president; former counselor in a stake presidency, stake mission president, bishop, counselor in a bishopric and missionary in the Brazil Sao Paulo North Mission. Insurance broker. Born in Campinas, Brazil, to Jason Garcia and Lindamir Franca F. Souza. Married Christianne Coelho Arantes, three children.

A counselor in the stake Relief Society presidency, Sister Souza is a former ward Young Women and Primary president and ward organist. Born in Goiania, Brazil, to Jose Jesus and Leopoldina Maria Coelho Arantes.
