GILBERT, Ariz. — Ty Porter, 17, of the Page Ward, Gilbert Arizona Highland Stake, was recently honored as a two-time Arizona State Wrestling Champion in the 215-pound weight class. The 5A state wrestling finals were held at the Glendale Arena in Phoenix, Ariz., on Feb. 11-12.
As a member of the Highland High School wrestling team, Ty also helped his team win the 5A state championship title this year.
