The missionary guide "Preach My Gospel" can be an invaluable tool in preaching the gospel and sharing testimonies of Jesus Christ.
The guide has focused the church's missionary effort without the constraint of a prescribed dialogue. It has made it easier to share the gospel with loved ones, prepare children for missions and spread the message of the Restoration of The Church of Jesus Christ.
There has been a need for a better way to share the fullness of the truth God has placed on Earth again. The "Preach My Gospel" guide provides a way to do that through lessons given in members' own words and by the spirit.
It includes scriptures on how to study and how to refine teaching skills. It explains why the Book of Mormon is the keystone of the church and provides suggestions for learning a mission language. The guide also provides planning tools for missionaries.
The guide was produced by the First Presidency, the Quorum of the Twelve and other general authorities after testing with 14 missions. The guide was released in English throughout the world in October 2004 and is expected to be translated into most languages spoken by missionaries by the end of the year.
