Eight new mission presidents, called by the First Presidency, have been
announced. The new leaders and their wives will begin service about July 1.
Mission presidents' assignments were announced in the Feb. 26, 2005, issue
of the Church News.
Milton and Barbara Brinton
Milton Harvey Brinton, 55; Brazil Rio
de Janeiro Mission; Wenatchee 3rd Ward, Wenatchee Washington Stake; temple
ordinance worker and assistant Aaronic priesthood adviser; former stake
president and counselor and missionary in the Brazil North Mission.
Vascular surgeon. Born in Chicago, Ill., to Milton Howe and Leah Pearl

coordinator, Sister Brinton is a former counselor in stake Young Women and
