CARROLLTON, Texas — Relief Society sisters in the Richardson Texas Stake prepared 235 Easter baskets for distribution at the bishops storehouse during March. Needy families coming to the storehouse were offered baskets containing candy, juice, cereal, stuffed animals, hand-made puppets, crayons, books and toys, as well as Pass Along Cards to remind them of the true meaning of Easter.
"The sisters really enjoyed the project and it gave them an opportunity to serve those families who may be struggling with financial difficulties," said stake Relief Society President Carolyn Sassi.
