Family: Born May 5, 1949, in Moscow, Idaho, to Cecil Wood Grow and Elsie Mae Lee Grow. Married Rhonda Lee Patten Oct. 10, 1969, in the Salt Lake Temple; eight children (and spouses): Leticia (Darren) Ashcraft, Matthew (Caryn), Marc (Cindy), David (JaLayne), Laura (Greg) Lake, Margaret (Peter) Tew, Emily (Daniel) Shelton, and Rachel; 22 grandchildren.

Employment: Worked at major accounting and business consulting firms before establishing his own accounting partnership.

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting from Brigham Young University.

Church service: Former Area Seventy, 1995 to 2005; president of the Idaho Area and counselor in the North America Northwest Area presidency; stake president and counselor, president of the Uruguay Montevideo Mission, 1988 to 1991; high councilor; stake Young Men president; bishop's counselor; and missionary in the Southeast Mexican Mission, 1967 to 1969.
