BOISE, Idaho A brother and sister from the Liberty Ward, Paris Idaho Stake, won the triple in high school distance running during the Idaho state championships on May 20-21 at Boise State University. The triple consists of winning the 800-meter race, the 1600-meter race and the 3200-meter race during one track meet. Representing Bear Lake High School in Montpelier, Idaho, Kate Eborn, a junior, and her brother, Dallas Eborn, a senior, each won the triple during the state meet.
Dallas and Kate each hold all three school records in these events. Kate also holds the district record for the 800 meters, and Dallas holds the 1600-meter and 3200-meter district records.
