July 2 — Utah National Guard 23rd Army Band will perform in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Tickets required for free admission (801-240-0080 or www.lds.org/events).
July 6 — Garden Talks in the Park: Conference Center Grounds. At 8 p.m. in the Brigham Young Historic Park, on the southeast corner of 2nd Avenue and State Street. Free admission.
July 8 — Temple Square Concert Series: Concerts in the Park. Sheree and the Messengers will perform at 8 p.m. in the Brigham Young Historic Park, on the southeast corner of 2nd Avenue and State. Free admission (801-240-0213).
Through Jan. 15, 2006 — Museum of Church History and Art exhibit: "Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration," featuring historical documents, works of art, period artifacts and media presentations that show how Joseph was prepared to fulfill his calling as the Prophet of the Restoration. Museum Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays and most holidays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. 45 N. West Temple. Free admission.
