RICHARDSON, Texas — In commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Joseph Smith, and in tribute to his life and ministry, the North Texas Oratorio Society, comprised of Church members from two North Texas regions, presented a varied program of sacred choral and orchestral music June 30 and July 1.

The program, "Visions," featured the 125-voice North Texas Oratorio Society Choir, 75-voice children's choir (ages 8-12) and a 75-piece professional symphony orchestra, under the direction of Robert D. Riska. The oratorio choir and orchestra sang arrangements of "Praise to the Man," "The Spirit of God," and "This is the Christ."
