Family: Born Dec. 15, 1950, at Murray, Utah, to George Yasuyuki Fujii and Yoshie Matsumoto Fujii; married Jim Reed Matsumori on June 6, 1973, in the Salt Lake Temple; children: Jessica, Dustin and Kathryn.
Education: Bachelor's degree in journalism with English minor from the University of Utah, included teaching certificate (1973).
Employment: English teacher in Jordan (Utah) School District, 1973-1976; adjunct instructor at Salt Lake Community College, 1989-1995.
Church service: Member of Primary general board, 2000-2005; former ward Primary, Relief Society and Young Women president, Young Women counselor, Primary and Relief Society teacher, Primary Achievement Day Leader, Cub Scout Den Leader.
