  • An article in the Sept. 24 issue of the Church News titled, "Magnificent building," incorrectly stated that President Joseph F. Smith was the only man to serve as counselor to four Church presidents. President Nathan Eldon Tanner also served as counselor to four presidents.

  • An article in the Sept. 24 issue of the Church News titled "Heroic response," incorrectly stated that Church-assembled hygiene kits were the first given in Raleigh, N.C., to evacuees from Hurricane Katrina. The American Red Cross had earlier provided hygiene kits for the evacuees.
