As was announced at the last general conference, a special program to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Joseph Smith will be broadcast over the Church satellite system at 6 p.m. MST on Friday, Dec. 23, 2005.

A portion of the program will originate from Sharon, Vt. Due to production requirements, the Joseph Smith Birthplace Memorial Visitors Center will be closed from 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, until 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005.

Those desiring to participate in the broadcast should plan to do so in their own stake center or by ticket to the Conference Center.
