GILBERT, Ariz. When members of the Gilbert 9th Ward, Val Vista Arizona Stake, celebrated the birthday of the Prophet Joseph Smith and the 175th anniversary of the restoration of the Church they went back to their roots this fall. Ward members participated in a 12-mile re-enactment of the pioneers crossing the plains with handcarts followed by the building of the Nauvoo Temple at Camp Zion.
