WEST JORDAN, Utah The youth of the River Oaks 6th Ward, West Jordan Utah River Oaks Stake, centered their youth conference on President Gordon B. Hinckley's challenge to read the Book of Mormon by the end of the year. The youth prepared themselves by reading from 1 Nephi through the end of the Words of Mormon, before youth conference. From there, 22 youth read together, out loud, the remaining almost 400 pages on a Friday and Saturday in November 2005. Through the experience, many expressed an increased testimony and a heightened love for the Book of Mormon and President Hinckley.
