A theatrical production by the youth of the Chihuahua Mexico Tecnologico Stake has left an impact on the stake and helped the youth better understand the role of the Prophet Joseph Smith.

Youth from the Chihuahua Mexico Tecnologico Stake are outfitted in pioneer wear for handcart trek, part of a production presented to large crowd honoring the 175th year of the Church and 200th anniversary of the birth of Joseph Smith.

In the production last April, major events of the Restoration were portrayed and a choir of young women performed, adding a touch of spirituality to the event, said President Luis Juarez Hurtado, first counselor in the stake presidency.

The youth prepared for several months and formed committees to provide the actors' costumes, make-up, music and scenery.

So successful was the production that the cultural hall in the stake center was not large enough to hold the audience, said President Juarez.
