A special stamp cancellation has been issued by the U.S. Postal Service to commemorate the 200-year anniversary of the Prophet Joseph Smith's birth.

The stamp cancellation was issued Dec. 23 and is valid until Jan. 23. Those wishing to collect the cancellation stamp should place a postcard or an envelope inside another envelope, and mail to: Postmaster, Joseph Smith special cancellation, P.O. The contents will be canceled with the special rubber stamp and returned (enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope). Each card or envelope to be stamped must contain proper postage.
